At 6:55 pm there were two shootings in the cafeteria. The shooting happened swiftly as multiple armed men stormed into the cafeteria disguised as volunteers. They began taking hostages and shot multiple warning shots. Security rushed to the scene and quickly apprehended the suspects with only two casualties. The suspects were taken down and security cleared the scene. It was then that four other suspects struck and took out the rest of the security. The suspects took hostages and began interrogating them for information. After this second attack, the Tactical Response Team moved into the scene. A long 15-minute firefight broke out leading to two civil personnel casualties. TRT eventually managed to push the armed men into a corner, ending the firefight.
Internal Operations would not comment on what information the armed men were seeking or who the armed men were.
